We’re a bit late with our afternoon tea. To be honest, I’m still full from lunch. I only finished my pudding about half an hour ago! That’s the thing about lunching with like minded folk. You get into a conversation and next thing you know the salad is wilting on the plate. It was delicious though.

We’re taking tea on the terrace. It’s such a beautiful day. I’ve got my eye on a fruit scone for a bit later. Writers have been drifting in and out of the dining room. The atmosphere is very relaxed.

You can still contribute to discussions elsewhere, but for now a bit of fun for that fuzzy time after lunch.

What book would you take to a desert island, and why?

Answers on a postcard please, although I can’t vouch for the postal service from cyberspace, so best use the comments box below.
